Overview

QCHE 2026 will convene a significant gathering of university leaders in admissions, compliance and international recruitment, building on the momentum of last year’s event and Qualification Check’s work with around one third of UK universities. The one day summit provides a collaborative space for sharing insight, exploring data and shaping best practice in verification and compliance.

Hosted by Qualification Check, QCHE 2026 features expert panels, sector data insights and interactive sessions designed to help institutions strengthen compliance, improve efficiency and reduce risk across international admissions.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Ed Hall (QC CEO) gives An opening address on the challenges shaping global admissions and why convening the sector matters now.

11:30 AM: Evolving Together: Platform Updates and the Road Ahead
Nick Foote (QC CTO) & Rachel Whales (QC Head of Global Accounts) Recent platform improvements, how partners are using them today, and and how feedback is shaping what comes next.

11:50 AM: Verification Masterclass, Part One: Insights from Data and Practice
Phil Dupont (QC Head of Business Development) shares never-before-seen QC data on fraud patterns in international verification, alongside Abhishek Dubey (QC Head of Service Delivery), flying in from India, with real-world examples of the types of fraud encountered by the verification teams he leads.

2:15 PM: Panel: Policy, Metrics, and Compliance, Navigating 2026
Andreea Moga (QAHE), Amanda Jeram (Bloomsbury Institute London), Fiona Guernaoui (University of Law), Shelley Vink (Password) examine BCA metrics and the UK’s International Education Strategy, and how they are shaping expectations for international admissions and compliance this year and beyond.

3:00 PM: Panel: Countering Application Fraud, Lessons from the Sector
Ed Hall (QC), Maeve Huttly (King’s College London), Fiona Eccles (University of Manchester), James Herron (University of Westminster) The panel brings together university partners to share effective approaches to recognising and responding to targeted application fraud, and how good practice is being applied to maintain strong standards of compliance

3:45 PM: Beyond the Score: Managing Fraud, Misconduct and Risk in English Language Assessment
Shelley Vink (Password) & Molly Tuttle (Password) run an interactive workshop examining how fraud and academic misconduct can affect English language testing for university admissions, exploring where risks arise in the assessment process through real world examples and discussion, informed by 17 years of high-stakes testing experience.

4:25 PM: QC Awards Ceremony
Presented by Rachel Whales (Head of Global Accounts) & Martina Prodomi (Customer Success Executive) Celebrating innovation, collaboration, and best practice across the community. The awards recognise how universities are strengthening verification and compliance using Qualification Check’s tools and insights. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco (or a non-alcoholic alternative) as the sun sets over the Thames

5:00 PM: Winter Mixer
Just a 30-second stroll from Glaziers Hall, continue the conversation at the Games Arch in Bermondsey Bierkeller. Join us for an informal evening of smart darts, shuffleboard, pool, food platters, and drinks, all hosted by Qualification Check.

The event will close with the QCHE Awards, celebrating innovation, collaboration and best practice across the community.
