About QC & WES Verification

Do I need to contact my institution for WES verification?

No, you do not need to contact your institution if you are using Qualification Check (QC).

Once you upload the required documents at the time of submission ( mark sheets/ transcripts, Degree certificates etc) QC will:

  • Contact your institution directly.
  • Follow up with the relevant department
  • Complete the verification on your behalf

Important:

  • If you already have valid academic documents, no further action is required
  • If you do not have your documents, you will need to obtain them from the issuing authority before applying through QC 

If additional documents or actions are required, QC will notify you by email.

To avoid any delays or your application being placed on hold, please make sure you submit all documents requested by WES.

Important guidelines:

  • If WES requires both degree certificate and transcripts, you must submit both documents
  • If WES requests translations, ensure you provide certified translations along with the original documents
  • Always upload clear, complete and correct documents as per WES requirements

Incomplete submissions may result in delays or your application being put on hold by WES.

QC works to complete your verification as quickly as possible, though timelines depend on your institution’s response.

Once verification is complete:

  • A QC Verification Report is generated
  • The report is securely sent to WES automatically
  • Your uploaded documents are also shared with WES
  • Once documents are shared they will reflect on the WES portal in next 48 hours

Always apply using the official WES-QC link to ensure your report is linked correctly.

If you did not use the WES link, please contact support with:

  • Your WES Reference Number
  • Your QC ID

You will be notified as follows:

  • Email confirmation from QC
  • Status update in your QC account
  • Update in your WES portal

If WES requires additional documents, they will contact you directly.

  • Most verifications are completed within 5-6 working days
  • However, timelines depend on how quickly your institution responds

Some delays may occur due to:

  • Institutional processing time
  • Internal verification procedures

QC continues to follow up until completion.

QC offers an expedited verification service, including:

  • Faster processing
  • Direct coordination with your institution
  • No need to manage document submission yourself
  • Automatic report delivery to WES

In the standard WES process:

  • You must contact your institution
  • Documents must be sent directly to WES
  • Processing times may be longer

QC currently supports verification for:

  • WES Canada
  • WES USA

 While NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) is part of the broader WES ecosystem, QC does not process verifications for NZQA applications.

For NZQA applications, you must follow the standard process directly with WES/NZQA.

No. QC verification services are only available for:

  • WES Canada
  • WES USA

If your application is for NZQA:

  • Do not proceed with QC verification
  • Follow the standard process outlined by WES/NZQA
  • Contact WES if you need clarification

This ensures your application is processed correctly without delays.

Using the QC Platform

How do I submit a verification request?
  1. Register using the WES-provided link  (wes.qualificationcheck.com)
  2. Log into your QC account
  3. Search for your institution
  4. Enter your details
  5. Upload required documents

QC will then initiate the verification process.

If you are unable to locate your institution, please try the following:

  • Search using the full institution name. If it does not appear, try using relevant keywords.
    (For example: Centro Universitário de Maringá → search using “Maringá”)
  • Apply filters such as country to narrow down your search results.

If your institution is still not listed, please contact: [email protected]

No action is required.

  • QC is actively following up with your institution
  • Some institutions take longer to respond

Track progress in:

  • Your QC portal → Event History

Check for updates every 48 hours.

You can:

  • Check your QC portal (Event History)
  • Use live chat (Monday to Friday, 03:30GMT to 21:30GMT)
  • Contact support via email

Always include:

  • Your QC ID
  • Your WES Reference Number

  • Any existing verifications (e.g., Bachelor’s degree already submitted) will remain saved.
  • Once reopened, you can submit a new request for your additional qualification (e.g., Master’s degree).
  • Upload the required documents under the new request for the additional qualification.

Additional credentials may involve extra charges.

Some cards may have international transaction restrictions.
