About Qualification Check

At Qualification Check, we’re a technology company with people at the heart of everything we do. We’re on a mission to empower organisations and individuals through trusted, globally verified credentials. As a global leader in verifying academic and professional qualifications, we provide fast, accurate verifications directly from the source.
With coverage in 195 countries and access to over 55,000 institutions, we help thousands of organisations worldwide – including universities, healthcare providers, background screeners, and regulated industries – to recruit compliantly, confidently, and offer a smooth experience for their teams and applicants. Our services streamline processes and catch and deter fraud, helping protect reputations, reduce risk, and uphold the highest standards in recruitment.

About the role

At Qualification Check, we help universities, employers and institutions verify qualifications and spot fraud. We’ve recently refreshed our brand, and now we’re looking for someone to lead how we bring it to life. Qualification Check is growing, and our brand is growing with us.

As Senior Designer, you’ll be responsible for leading the rollout of our new brand, online and offline. You’ll set the creative direction, do the work, and own how our brand looks across everything we make. You’ll be at the heart of a fast-paced marketing team looking to scale and make an impact.

What you’ll do:

Lead the rollout of our new brand
Put our new identity into practice across our marketing, and set the templates and standards that keep it consistent as we grow.

Produce creative for our campaigns
Design campaign visuals, social graphics and other marketing assets, including branded materials for our email and digital campaigns.

Design thought leadership
A lot of our marketing is insight-led. You’ll design reports, insight documents and presentations, and turn our data into clear visualisations that are easy to understand.

Create event and field marketing materials
You’ll support the Events and Field Marketing Manager to design assets for conferences, exhibitions and roundtables – slides, signage, branded materials and merch ideas included.

Make short-form video
Film and edit marketing videos, interviews and event clips. Produce short-form video that promotes our insights, events and expertise across channels.

Be a brand guardian
Keep our visual identity consistent. You’ll look after our templates and assets, keep our brand documentation up to date, and work with the product team so our marketing and platform look like one brand.

What you’ll bring:

You’re a senior creative who can both set direction and do the work. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of agency or in-house design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating online and offline design
  • Experience leading brand and design projects through to delivery with the ability to translate brand strategy into engaging design
  • Strong, proven design skills with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent
  • Experience producing and editing video (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar)
  • Experience producing work across a wide range of outputs, including websites, campaigns, magazines, posters, animations, exhibitions, reports, social media, displays, corporate communications and visual identity systems
  • Experience implementing and integrating AI into the design workflow
  • Ability to think strategically as well as execute creatively
  • Experience working with motion graphic and animation
  • Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design principles
  • Strong understanding of UX, UI and digital best practice

What we offer:

  • Remote first: we ask for one day a week in our London office to stay connected. The rest is up to you, and you’re welcome to come in more often.
  • Creative trust: you’ll own it end to end, making creative decisions and having the creative freedom to experiment.
  • Competitive salary: £50,000–£60,000 for this 12-month fixed-term contract.

How to apply:

If this sounds like the right role for you, we’d love to hear from you. Apply with your CV and a portfolio of your work.
